Gotta make an entry!!! Last day in August! So, this is a sample I did for a very young board book I am working on right now. It was one of those ideas that arrives in the middle of the night, to use an opaque paint on a dark paper, and let the space between the color be the line work. I really like the possibilities with this, and can't wait to use it on a project.

Dear Jackie,
I am very much enjoying the variety of your accomplished creations. Nice website! You have a terrific flair and present a natural creative spirit for illustration! I am compelled to ask you about the "clay coated paper" you mentioned. I have been able to source the clay coated board easily enough, but the paper seems much harder to find. Could you please tell me where I could buy the paper, either in blocks or in seperate sheets? This looks like so much fun, to scratch back over line work!
THANKS in Advance and Continued Success!
